Men's Hockey
Our Men's Hockey team is a member of the RSEQ Men's D1 Hockey Provincial League. The league is currently composed of colleges from all over the province.
Our student-athletes benefit from the expertise of outstanding coaching staff and we strive in providing them the best learning experiences possible.
We are 5 times Provincial Champions (2010-2011-2012-2014-2016) and two-time Regular Season champions (2014-2016).
HEAD COACH GUY CHOUINARD
The St. Lawrence Lions are extremely proud to count on Guy Chouinard, such a well-renowned Quebec coach and player.
- 2012-now: Head coach St. Lawrence Lions (RSEQ D1)
- 1985- : More than 15 years of coaching experience, former Head Coach Quebec Remparts and Charlottetown Islanders (QMJHL)
- 1975-84: Former NHL players (Atlanta/Calgary Flames and St. Louis Blues)
ASSITANT-COACH HENRI IZARD
Welcome back to Henri Izard, our new Hockey Assistant-Coach! We are pleased to have Henri back in the Lions’ family after a three-year stint in the QMJHL. Henri combines deep knowledge of D1 college hockey and solid coaching experience.
- 2013-16: Assistant-Coach Cape Breton Screaming Eagle (QMJHL)
- 2009-12: Assistant-Coach St. Lawrence Lions (RSEQ D1)
- 1989-2005: Head-Coach St-Laurent Patriotes Women’s and Men’s programs (RSEQ D1)
