St. Lawrence Alumni Foundation

St. Lawrence Alumni Foundation is a dynamic, charitable organization whose aims are to be a focal contact point for its members and provide financial aid to St Lawrence College (SLC) and its students, in its efforts to promote student success.

The Foundation has as its fundamental mission the betterment of St. Lawrence. All alumni are encouraged to connect with the impressive network of graduates who have passed through our halls since 1958, whether the experience was in the days St. Lawrence was located on the Université Laval campus, on rue Wolfe, in the “old bowling alley” or on rue Nérée-Tremblay.

St. Lawrence is more than a cégep—it’s where I discovered my voice. Transitioning from a French high school, I was nervous about learning in English. But thanks to incredibly supportive teachers who welcomed every question, I adapted quickly and thrived. I went from being a student unsure of his place to someone who helped shape the community—whether by launching a TEDx conference, tutoring peers, or leading on the tennis court. Today, I am studying Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, and I know St. Lawrence played a huge role in helping me get there—equipped, confident, and ready to have an impact on the world.

I felt that My CEGEP experience at St. Lawrence was great! The small classes let me have time to ask my teacher questions and pay more attention. All the clubs and extracurriculars also helped make my experience just that much better, without those CEGEP would have been all about studying and taking tests, but they helped make CEGEP a blast! I would really recommend St. Lawrence for anyone wanting a great CEGEP experience!
