Contest Propulse ton idée d'affaires!
On November 14th, was held at the CAMP, an intercollegiate recognition and networking event. Prizes, special guests, passionate entrepreneurs and much more!
The contest provides students with a business idea (product, service or event) the opportunity to interact with experienced entrepreneurs and a chance to win up to $5,000 in prizes offered by Entrepreneuriat-études.
At Champlain St. Lawrence, in collaboration with KickStart SLC and the RBC funds, our local winners are given $500 in bursaries. This year’s finalists were:
- 1st place (prize $300): Palaos: a double sided Poncho to keep warm and dry on a boat or after a sports activity. Congratulations to the team, Laurie Fauchon, Jennifer Bernard and Alexandre Bélanger. All three are in the PW Sims business program.
- 2nd place (prize $200): Smarter Student: an application to help students budget their money wisely while having fun doing it. Congratulations to the founder: Jeremy Poulin, who is in the PW Sims Business Program.
