Second year students from the bilingual tourism program attend the Ottawa Travel and Vacation Show
The second year students from the bilingual tourism program (Cégep Limoilou in partnership with Champlain – St. Lawrence) attended the Ottawa Travel and Vacation Show as exhibitors on the week-end of March 25-26, 2017. With the collaboration of the Quebec City Tourism Office students had the chance to shine and promote the beautiful city of Québec to a savvy clientele looking for new experiences. Evaluated and assisted by their teachers, the students demonstrated professionalism and solid selling skills and put into practice the abilities developed during the past two years of their studies.
For its 23rd edition the show was held at the Shaw Centre also known as the Ottawa Convention Centre which is located at the very heart of the city. According to the exhibitors, it is ‘the best travel show Canada produces’. More than 17, 600 visitors from the Ottawa region and 200 exhibitors from all over the world attended the show this year.
