College Initiation to Research Scholarship Winners Announced
St. Lawrence students Sami Benmahbous, Arthur Zimmerman, Andrea Martinez Ortiz, and Isabelle Gagnon are the first to receive a College Initiation to Research Scholarship (BIRC) from the Fonds de recherche du Québec – société et culture (FRQSC).
Under the supervision of Lisa Birch, coordinator of the Social Science Department and Program, the four students will be introduced to research in the field of political science and public policy. They will have the opportunity to join a team of college and university researchers led by Birch and to participate in their project as research assistants.
