St. Lawrence did very well at the EUCLID Mathematics Contest
The St. Lawrence team did very well in the Euclid Mathematics Contest run by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing at the University of Waterloo. Almost 20 thousand students participated in this contest.
Five of our students: Nicholas Gordon, Jeanne Laflamme, Sarah Lalancette Caron, Christophe Caron and Benjamin Corbett earned Certificates of Distinction for performing in the top 25%.
In addition, Nick Gordon will get a medal for the top performance in the school.
Overall, our team was ranked 5th in the province of Quebec and # 1 in the Quebec city region.
