Presentation: "The Irish Experience"
CEGEP Champlain St. Lawrence, in collaboration with with the Défilé de la Saint-Patrick de Québec (organizers of Quebec City's St. Patrick's Day Parade), presents a talk on the local Irish community and its evolution over the past 175 years.
"The Irish Experience" takes place March 22, 2018 at 19:30 in the Industrial Alliance Auditorium of the CEGEP. The guest speaker is Professor and Researcher at University Laval, Dr. Robert J. Grace, Ph.D. This talk is open to the public.
Discover your own Irish roots (estimated by historian Mariana O'Gallagher at 44% of the population) and meet for yourself this congenial community that over time has become a model of positive integration for both Quebec and Canadian society.
