A Sweep in the First Round for our Lions Hockey Team
The RSEQ hockey playoffs are underway! In the first round, our Lions took on the André-Laurendeau Boomerang. The St. Lawrence Lions finished the season in 9th position with 37 points while André-Laurendeau was ranked 8th with 38 points. This best-of-three series started in Montreal and our team came out flying and had a great performance.

Justin Beauchemin : 2 goals
Emerick Bussières : 1 goal and 1 assist
The second game took place at home and it was a really close playoff game. Our Lions scored the first goal in the second period and our goalie Simon Boucher stopped every shot he faced to register his first playoff shutout of his collegiate career.

Our Lions win the series 2-0 and move on to the quarter-finals against the Alma Jeannois in a best-of-five series.
