St. Lawrence Celebrates 2026 Graduates

The St. Lawrence graduation ceremony took place on Friday, June 5th at the Centre Montmartre. As always, this special occasion provided an opportunity for students, parents, teachers, and staff to come together and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the past year.

The night began with an inspiring speech by Mr. Edward Berryman, Director of the Constituent College and Director of Studies, setting the stage for a night of well-deserved recognition. A total of twenty-six different awards with a combined value of $46 250 were presented to students during the ceremony in recognition of their achievements in academics, athletics, sociocultural involvement, and community service.

Highest Academic Achievement Recipients: Ana Prundus (Science), Angélika Côté (Social Science), Gabrielle Clément (ALC) and Anastasia Gaulin (Business).

Among the honorees, we proudly highlight the recipients of the highest academic achievement awards: Ana Prundus (Science), Angélika Côté (Social Science), Gabrielle Clément (Arts, Literature, and Communication) and Anastasia Gaulin (Business). Ana Prundus was also awarded the prestigious Board of Governors’ Merit Award and the Governor General’s Medal for highest overall academic achievement.

Hassan Adra, class of 2026 valedictorian, delivering his speech

The ceremony concluded with valedictorian Hassan Adra delivering an address to his peers, reflecting on their shared experiences at St. Lawrence. The evening then transitioned to a graduation cocktail, where attendees raised their glasses in celebration of the graduates’ dedication and achievements.

This monetary award recognizes a graduating student who has made a successful transition from high school to college while adapting to a new living environment.

The P.W. Sims Award is presented annually to a student with outstanding performance in the Business Administration program.

This annual scholarship is awarded to a student entering his or her first year of university in health studies. This prestigious scholarship is in keeping with Citadel Foundation’s mandate of helping students in financial need reach their dreams.
