Hockey 2017-18 postseason wrap up

The 2017-18 hockey team was a young and talented group looking forward to impact the team and leave their mark on the Lions history. The athletes showed a lot of determination and enthusiasm as the season began and had an outstanding start with 11 wins and 2 losses.

Unfortunately, during the second part of the season, things changed. 19 losses out of the 24 games scheduled. 9 of these losses were hard to accept as they were either by 1 goal, in overtime or in a shootout.

Coach Chouinard’s positivism led the Lions to a win against Saint-Laurent in the first round of Best of Three. Key players like Hugo Guillemette, Vincent Guy and Edouard Normand helped the team with important plays during the first round. Unfortunately, the season came to an end after playing the Lennoxville Cougars.

On behalf of the St. Lawrence community, we would like to congratulate our three seniors, captain Samuel Poulin, Lucas Sylvestre and Edouard Normand. Your contribution to our program has been very appreciated and we wish you the best for your future. We would also like to thank our supporters and sponsors that helped the team all year long.
