About the AEC

The Business Administration program (LCA.C5) is designed for adults wishing to work in personnel management, sales, representation, accounting, finance, or any other administrative field. The program will also provide entrepreneurs with the knowledge to start a business.

Unique in the region, this bilingual, hybrid (distance and in-class) program will enable you to improve your knowledge of the business world and find employment in a stimulating, varied, and high-demand profession. The hybrid program lets you take most courses from home.

Admission Requirements

Applicants to the AEC Program must satisfy the following requirements:

Have passed Math 416 (or equivalent)

Advanced intermediate level of English (program is bilingual)

At least one year has passed since last enrolment in regular secondary studies

French language skills (Law 14)

One of the following conditions

  • DES (secondary school diploma)
  • DEP (vocational studies diploma) and Secondary 4 French
  • Completion and passing of 36 units of Secondary 4 and/or 5, including Secondary 4 French and English. (Vocational training units may be included in the calculation)
  • Sufficient and relevant work experience

This program is only offered to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Quebec. 

Info Session

Our information session gives you an overview of the program and answers any questions you might have. It takes place online and lasts 15-20 minutes. You must attend the information session if you wish to enroll in the program.

All applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  • Large-format birth certificate
  • Ministère de l’Éducation report card (MELS)
  • College report card (if applicable)
  • Health card
  • CV (curriculum vitae)

The following additional documents are required of immigrant students:

  • Permanent residence card or certificate of Canadian citizenship
  • Transcripts with translation (if applicable) and comparative evaluation for all studies completed outside of Quebec
