St. Lawrence Holds Annual Ped Day
On Wednesday, May 31st, St. Lawrence teachers gathered for the annual Ped Day. This year's event boasted a variety of exciting offerings, including keynote sessions from two wonderful guest speakers. Marie-Claude Cyr spoke about individual assessment in teamwork at the start of the day, sharing her tips and tricks. Catherine Ratelle held a session in the afternoon that explored the field of motivation and helped teachers to better frame the motivation of their students for improved positive development. Teachers also had the opportunity to hear from colleagues about projects that took place this year, and to discuss hot topics in the field of education.
A special congratulations to Carol-Anne Gauthier, who received the AQPC Excellence in Teaching Award this year, and to Suzanne Lemay, who was recently recognized with the Loran Teachers Building Leaders Award. Both were celebrated by their colleagues at the day's closing activity.
