St. Lawrence Recognizes JHF for their Contribution
On February 2 and 3 the St. Lawrence Auditorium was host to two encore performances of “The Philanthropist” multimedia theatre presentation. The play tells the riveting but little-known life story of Jeffery Hale, a true humanitarian whose legacy has had a strong influence on the Anglophone community of Quebec for well over a century.
The St. Lawrence community took advantage of these events to formally thank the Jeffery Hale Foundation, for their contribution of 1 Million Dollars to help in the construction of the campus’ new Student Centre.
In recognition of this historical donation, St. Lawrence has now dedicated the new section of the campus in honour of Jeffery Hale. The new space will now be known as the “Jeffery Hale Student Center”.
