Monochrome Paintings Exhibition

The students of the Painting Complementary Course in French are pleased to announce their first exhibition of the winter session: “Monochrome Paintings” in the third floor hallway near the side exit door.

With this project, each student created their own composition using their own photos or drawings, or by being inspired by another artwork or photo. The paintings they created show each student’s interpretation of the light, shadows and reflections in a variety of scenes. You can notice some of the wonderful stylistic elements, including varied textures, brilliant highlights and expressive brushwork.
