Monochrome Paintings

The students of the Painting complimentary course (in French) are pleased to announce their first exhibition of the season: “Monochrome Paintings”. Take a look at their marvellous paintings on the 3rd floor hallway beside the exit door.

With this project, each student created their own composition using their own photos or drawings, or by being inspired by another artwork. The paintings they created show each student’s interpretation of the light, shadows and reflections in a variety of scenes. Notice some of the wonderful stylistic elements, including varied textures, brilliant highlights and expressive brushwork. Bravo painting students!
