With nearly 1,000 students, St. Lawrence is the only English-language college campus in the Québec City area. While the college is best known for our pre-university programs, it is also home to the P.W. Sims Business Program and a unique bilingual Tourism program in partnership with Cégep Limoilou. Situated next to Laval University, this small and close-knit campus gives students the opportunity to experience rich cultural and athletic activities while strengthening their English language skills.

What are the next steps in the recruitment process?

Job offers are posted for 10 working days (for most positions)
Applications are analyzed by selection committee members
Candidates selected for interviews are contacted
Interviews take place
Reference checks are completed
An official offer is sent to the selected candidate
Other candidates are contacted

Who are the members of the selection committees ?

The manager overseeing the position, a Human Resources representative, and Another employee from same category (e.g., Support Staff). If the selection is for a teacher position, there will be 3 teachers on the committee.

How are interviews conducted?

Interviews last around 60 minutes. They are conducted mainly in English, with a few questions in French (except for interviews for French teaching position). For the teaching positions, there is a 10-minute teaching simulation during the interview.
