Volleyball Division 3
Our female volleyball Division 3 team played very good volleyball throughout the entire season and finished in first position of their group.
Throughout the year, some athletes stood out, including Emanuelle Duarte who received the RSEQ Most Valuable Player honor.
Ranking fourth in the overall standings, our reps were invited to participate in the conference championship held at CEGEP Limoilou. Their first game was encouraging against Charlevoix, winning 2-1 (25-23, 22-25, 15-8). The next challenge was to play the defending champions of the season, the Gaillards of CEGEP Jonquière. Unfortunately, our Lions lost and ended their run in consolation against Thetford CEGEP Filons.
Nevertheless, next year looks very promising as the team will benefit from the experience of our students in their second season with the program.
