Our own Philippe Blouin publishes a book on Phenomenology

Philippe Blouin is a humanities teacher here at St.Lawrence. It is with pride that we announce the publishing of his book called "La Phénoménologie comme manière de vivre" It is published by Zeta books.

Phenomenology objectively studies topics that are most often regarded as subjective. It seeks to describe the world around us instead of mastering it. Its goal is to determine the structures and properties of experience itself.

Philippe's book explores how phenomenology can be applied to life. Through the examination of phenomenology's history, he introduces the existential component of this more methodological and scientific philosophy. An applied approach, if you will.
