La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de remise des dipl\u00f4mes de St. Lawrence a eu lieu le vendredi 6 juin au Centre Montmartre \u00e0 Sillery. Comme toujours, cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement sp\u00e9cial a \u00e9t\u00e9 l’occasion pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves, les parents, les enseignants et le personnel de se r\u00e9unir et de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer les r\u00e9alisations exceptionnelles de l’ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

La soir\u00e9e a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par un discours inspirant de M. Edward Berryman, directeur du coll\u00e8ge constituant et directeur des \u00e9tudes, qui a donn\u00e9 le ton \u00e0 une soir\u00e9e de reconnaissance bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9e. Au total, vingt-sept prix d’une valeur combin\u00e9e de 34 225 $ ont \u00e9t\u00e9 remis aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves lors de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie en reconnaissance de leurs r\u00e9alisations dans les domaines scolaire, sportif, socioculturel et communautaire.<\/p>\n

La doyenne de la facult\u00e9 et des services professionnels, Angela Stevens, avec les r\u00e9cipiendaires du lieutenant-gouverneur, Paloma Calleja et Merrick Marshall.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Parmi les laur\u00e9ats, nous sommes fiers de souligner les r\u00e9cipiendaires des prix d’excellence acad\u00e9mique : \u00c8ve Richard (sciences sociales), Harun Trtak (arts, litt\u00e9rature et communication), Charlie Tremblay Groleau (affaires) et Hirad Haghbayan (sciences). Hirad Haghbayan a \u00e9galement re\u00e7u le prestigieux prix d’excellence du Conseil des gouverneurs et la M\u00e9daille du gouverneur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral pour l’excellence acad\u00e9mique globale.<\/p>\n

Le directeur du coll\u00e8ge constituant Edward Berryman, le professeur de sciences Denis Carrier et Hirad Haghbayan, r\u00e9cipiendaire du Prix du m\u00e9rite du Conseil des gouverneurs et de la M\u00e9daille du gouverneur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie s’est termin\u00e9e par le discours de Dominic Gaumont, major de promotion, qui a \u00e9voqu\u00e9 les exp\u00e9riences communes v\u00e9cues par ses camarades au Coll\u00e8ge. La soir\u00e9e s’est ensuite poursuivie par un cocktail anim\u00e9, au cours duquel les participants ont lev\u00e9 leur verre pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer le d\u00e9vouement et les r\u00e9alisations des dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s. L’excitation et la joie ont envahi la salle tandis que les \u00e9tudiants, leurs familles et leurs enseignants partageaient leurs anecdotes et leurs sinc\u00e8res f\u00e9licitations. Ce fut une fin parfaite pour une soir\u00e9e m\u00e9morable.<\/p>\n
