St. Lawrence becomes the first fair-trade campus in Québec City

CEGEP Champlain - St. Lawrence and the Québec Fair Trade Consortium invite media to its Fair Trade Campus Designation Ceremony on Thursday, September 27 at 12:30, at the CEGEP Champlain - St-Lawrence (790 Nérée-Tremblay Ave., Québec Qc G1V 4K2) IA Financial Group Auditorium.  CEGEP St. Lawrence will announce that it will become the first Fair Trade Campus in Québec City for Fair Campus Week.

The Fair Campus program recognizes colleges and universities with a strong commitment to fair trade. It demonstrates a long-term vision for widespread awareness and support for fair trade on Canadian campuses and in their wider communities.

The Fair Trade Consortium of Quebec is promoting the program, mobilizing and supporting the various campuses wishing to obtain the designation.
